Do you want to make a real impact? Here you contribute to creating security for people and societies. What you do matters.
Your Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in developing new products as well as further developing and maintaining our existing solutions. Our products include, among other things, systems, devices, and software for airplanes and helicopters.
The work is primarily carried out using the CAD tool CATIA V5 and the analysis tool Ansys. You will also participate in tests, such as design and qualification tests, to verify and ensure our solutions. Here you are offered the chance to tackle technically complex applications, with exciting challenges including installation in tight spaces and requirements for vibration, strength, and temperature resistance.
You will become part of a cohesive and engaged team where diverse experiences are highly valued and ideas are discussed openly and without hierarchy. At our company, there are excellent opportunities for personal and professional development, with ample room for own initiatives, creativity, and responsibility. We encourage you to develop, broaden your competence, and take on new tasks or technical areas.
Your Profile
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is curious, engaged, and wants to continue developing within the field. You are positive and non-hierarchical, with a natural curiosity and strong collaboration skills. You find the opportunity to work through the entire development chain exciting, and you are just as idea-rich and innovative in the concept phase as you are structured and meticulous in the detail and implementation phase.
To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you have:
- A Master’s, Civil Engineer, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or Product Development.
- Relevant work experience in the field.
- The ability to work cross-functionally and be unifying.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
Previous experience with avionics or mechatronics is meritorious, as is familiarity with CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5. We also see practical experience with mechanical work as a significant asset, as a large part of the testing phase involves disassembling and assembling the devices.
What You Will Be Part Of
Discover endless possibilities. Embrace challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
