Your Role

Do you want to drive technical development forward? In this role, you work as both a Team Leader and a Mechanical Designer, combining technical expertise with operational responsibility.

As Team Leader, you have overall responsibility for structuring and driving the group's work forward, ensuring that the team's deliverables maintain high quality and meet set deadlines. You are also responsible for weekly follow-ups, collaborate with others to develop and monitor our processes, and act as the natural link to business stakeholders, proactively reporting progress and handling any deviations.

The remainder of your time is spent working operationally as a Mechanical Designer. Here, you have the opportunity to dive deep into the technology and participate in exciting innovation studies, where we together lay the foundation for future solutions.

You thrive in a changing environment and have the drive to move work forward and the ability to prioritize effectively when conditions change. You possess strong leadership qualities and are a unifying force who dares to challenge and push forward when needed, while remaining sensitive to the team's needs and promoting a good collaborative culture.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience
• Extensive background in mechanical design
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience with DevOps is considered a merit.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, citizenship requirements may apply in some cases.
