We are now looking for an experienced and driven Production Engineer who wants to take a key role in developing our manufacturing processes and contribute to creating an even more efficient, sustainable, and competitive production.

About the role

As a Production Engineer at KABE, you will play a central role in our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production, plant managers, design, quality, and other support functions to develop processes, working methods, and production flows.

The role involves significant responsibility and offers the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the company's long-term development. You will be a key driver in improvement and change initiatives and serve as a natural support to management in production engineering matters.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily:

• Drive and implement production engineering improvement projects.
• Develop and optimize production processes, methods, and working methods.
• Work with line balancing, capacity analysis, and flow optimization.
• Conduct work and method studies to improve productivity and ergonomics.
• Be responsible for preparation and creation of production documentation.
• Participate in development projects and ensure efficient industrialization of new products.
• Work with layout changes and the development of the production environment.
• Conduct risk assessments related to working environment, safety, and chemical handling.
• Act as a key link between development, production, and other functions.
• Support the business in Lean work and structured improvement efforts.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in production engineering within the manufacturing industry, who thrives on combining operational presence in production with strategic development work.

You likely have:

• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economics, Production Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in production engineering and business development.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material flows, and production control.
• Experience with Lean Production and structured improvement work.
• Experience in project management and change management.
• Good skills in the Office package.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.

Merits

• Experience from the automotive industry or other advanced manufacturing.
• Knowledge of line production and industrialization.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, M3 Infor, and Avix.
• Experience with investments, layout projects, and production development.
