Operations Technician – Machinery

We are currently looking for an Operations Technician – Machinery, who will maintain and carry out improvement work on our sorting facilities together with three other technicians. In your role, you will have a short-term focus on troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and preventive work. You will also have a long-term focus by continuously conducting analyses of development and improvement work. Finally, we see you acting as a requirement setter and working proactively to ensure that all employees have a safe workplace.

You are offered varied tasks, with great freedom under responsibility and good development opportunities – as Bring is in an expansion phase, and especially the department you will belong to. You will become part of Property & Technology, consisting of a manager and nine employees. You will collaborate closely within the team as well as with other departments within the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and care of our sorting facilities.
  • Drive continuous development and improvement work.
  • Gather and analyze information for further development of the department's maintenance work and routines.
  • Perform maintenance tasks according to maintenance plans.
  • Conduct proactive work to ensure we have a safe and secure workplace.
  • Report performed tasks and spare parts consumption in the service system.
  • Assist property technicians when needed.

Formal Requirements

  • Education in automation, or equivalent work experience.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish.
  • Spoken and written English.
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Generally good computer skills, Office package, and software tools.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.

The following qualifications are considered meritorious

  • Lift training (according to LLP).
  • Certification for Hot Work.
  • Forklift license cat A1-4, B1-3.
  • Previous experience in electrical work.

Scope and Location

Scope: The position is 100%, daytime hours. Night work may occur.

Employment Type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period.

Location: Jönköping
