At Uniskill Meditech, you will work with the entire product development chain – from idea and design to assembly, testing, and the finished product. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, who enjoys solving problems and is equally comfortable working at a computer screen as they are on the production floor.

We develop, manufacture, and market our own products within workplace safety and personal protection – products that contribute to a safer working environment for our customers every day.

We are in an exciting growth phase and are now looking for a Development Engineer who wants to strengthen our development team.

About the role

This is a broad and varied role where development and practical work go hand in hand. You will work closely with both development and production, being involved throughout the entire process – from design and product development to assembly, testing, verification, and continuous improvements.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Product development and design
• Hardware design
• Electronics development
• Electromechanical design and mechanics
• Prototyping
• Testing, verification, and troubleshooting
• Improvement and further development of existing products

During your first period with us, the role will consist of approximately:

• 50% development and design work, where you participate in the development and further development of our products.
• 50% practical work in production, including assembly, verification, troubleshooting, and final testing of products.

This combination gives you a deep understanding of our products and production processes, creating a solid foundation for contributing new ideas and smart solutions.

Who are you?

You are someone who enjoys technology and is driven by understanding how things work. When you encounter a problem, you want to find out why it occurred and find a smart solution. You thrive on combining practical work with technical development and appreciate the variety between workshop, production, and design work.

You can be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience – for us, it is more important that you have the right attitude, a genuine interest in technology, and a desire to develop, rather than your exact educational level or number of years in the profession.

• We would like you to: have a technical university education, such as a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or a similar field
• have good knowledge of SolidWorks
• have a strong interest in technology and enjoy combining design with practical work
• be solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and enjoy troubleshooting, testing, and improving technical solutions
• enjoy working both independently and collaboratively
• have good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• have a valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Product development
• Electronics
• Mechanical design
• Testing and verification
• Monitor G5.
