About the role

As a Press Shift Leader, you will become an integral part of the production organization in Vetlanda, reporting to the Plant Manager. You will lead the daily operations in the press department and work closely with both operators and other functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

The role involves operational leadership where you plan, coordinate, and develop the business while supporting and coaching your employees in their daily work.

As a Press Shift Leader, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading daily production within your area of responsibility. You ensure that the business meets set goals regarding safety, quality, productivity, delivery precision, and results, while creating good conditions for employees and the business to develop. The role also includes personnel responsibility with a focus on working environment, rehabilitation, and competence development.

Your responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead daily production
• Allocate resources to ensure an efficient production flow
• Lead, coach, and develop employees in daily work
• Responsible for working environment, rehabilitation cases, and personnel development
• Ensure the business meets set goals in HSSE, quality, productivity, and delivery security
• Drive structured improvement work together with the team
• Contribute to a safe workplace where order, quality, and collaboration are in focus

Your background

We are looking for you who have experience from an operational leadership role in manufacturing industry and who thrive in a business where high pace is combined with quality and safety. You have a good technical understanding and are accustomed to planning, prioritizing, and making decisions in daily operations.

You have:

• Upper secondary education or equivalent experience
• Experience from operational work within the manufacturing industry
• Experience in personnel management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with the Office package
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Additional qualifications such as BAM training and experience in production technology, production logistics, project management, or quality and environmental work are meritorious.
