Since 1990, Melin & Carlsson has developed and manufactured hydraulic cylinders for mobile and stationary applications. We are specialists in customized solutions and serve customers in the recycling and forestry industries, transport, material handling, and contracting. Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the hub between the customer, market, design, purchasing, and production. You are responsible, among other things, for driving projects related to the introduction of new articles and technical changes in existing products, from customer inquiry to production start. The role is broad and close to operations, where you ensure that projects are driven forward with the right quality, structure, and pace. You become the connecting link that coordinates activities between different functions and ensures that the right decisions are made at the right time. The goal is to create efficient processes, shorter lead times, and ensure that customer needs are translated into production-friendly and competitive solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Act as the contact person for customers regarding technical matters and participate in customer dialogues as needed.
• Collaborate closely with design, production, purchasing, and marketing to create efficient and production-friendly solutions.
• Follow up on project results, perform post-calculations, and work on continuous improvements.
• Actively drive the work forward by collecting, communicating, and following up on relevant information between different stakeholders.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest and a natural ability to create structure and drive the work forward. You have experience in project management, project coordination, or similar work within the manufacturing industry and feel confident in dialogue with both customers and internal functions. You have a technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, production, or design, or equivalent experience from the industry. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, can interpret technical drawings and documents, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

As a person, you are structured, communicative, and unpretentious. You thrive with many contact surfaces, have an easy time building relationships, and dare to drive issues forward to ensure that projects meet set goals.
