Do you want to work in a key role where you can combine technical depth in material analysis with structured work in digital systems? At Husqvarna, you will have the opportunity to help ensure the quality of future products – both through advanced material investigations in the lab and by building robust and accurate material data in our systems. We are looking for you who thrive in a dynamic role where theory meets practice and where your expertise makes a real difference.About the role

As a Materials Engineer, you will have a split role where you work approximately 50% with material data in the PLM system Teamcenter and 50% in the materials lab. In the system part, you are responsible for ensuring correct and quality-assured material data. You work with structuring, registering, and analyzing material information, including handling material cards, classification, and follow-up according to internal requirements. You collaborate closely with designers and other functions that rely on correct material data for development and production. In the laboratory part, you work practically with material analyses. This includes, among other things, sample preparation and analysis of material properties, for example through microscopy, hardness assessment, and chemical analyses. The work may include deviation investigations, failure analyses, as well as verification of materials in connection with quality issues, complaints, and field problems. You are part of a team of approximately 10–12 people and collaborate closely with functions within development, quality, and production. The role requires that you can quickly switch between analytical system work and practical laboratory work, and that you contribute with both structure and technical understanding in the organization's material-related issues. Your profile We are looking for you who have a strong materials technology foundation combined with a structured and analytical approach to work. You are structured and quality-conscious in your system work. We also believe that you are curious and flexible and enjoy switching between more administrative tasks and practical lab work. Requirements for the position:

  • University degree/Civil Engineer education in materials technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience working in a PLM system, preferably Teamcenter
  • Experience with materials technology analysis in a laboratory environment
