Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking to work in a high-tech environment where quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration are at the core? There is now an exciting opportunity for a consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry in Halmstad, where you will play a key role in developing and optimizing future manufacturing processes.
In this role, you will work closely with both production and technical teams, taking overall responsibility for understanding, developing, and improving manufacturing flows. You will become part of a team of Production Engineers who drive improvements together and ensure that production delivers high quality from the very first step.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing flows and processes
- Analyze deviations and identify improvement measures
- Support production in daily operations
- Ensure that new tasks and techniques work in practice
- Work with preparations, instructions, and routings
- Participate in operational meetings and drive activities forward
A key part of the role is combining strategic thinking with operational presence, where you both initiate improvements and ensure they function in reality. Here you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to the development of working methods based on Lean and Agile principles.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least approximately 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer
- Has a relevant technical education
- Has experience in manufacturing and production environments
- Is accustomed to working at the interface between production and design
- Has good knowledge of Creo (required)
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
The following is meritorious:
- Experience with business systems such as IFS
- Background in product development
- Experience working with Lean or continuous improvements
