We are currently looking for a System Engineer for our client in Arboga, one of the leading technical consulting firms in the Nordics with clients within defense, the defense industry, and civil infrastructure. Here you will combine your technical interest with societal benefit and play a key role in shaping future technical solutions while ensuring the highest quality in every delivery.
About the role

As a System Engineer, you will be a key person in driving technical development forward. You will conduct technical analyses, develop and modify hardware and software components, and ensure high technical quality in all deliveries. Responsibilities
- Installation, supervision, and repairs of facilities
- Testing, verification activities, and measurements
- Development and modification of system components
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site at the customer and in workshop/office environments
- Ensuring technical quality and system integration
- Office administration, including documentation, purchasing, Sherpa, and structuring
- Creating and updating technical documentation, including technical manuals, handbooks, instructions, and maintenance and repair schedules
- Procuring and following up on spare parts
- Handling customer dialogue
We are looking for you who
- Have a degree in systems, data, radio frequency, or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Have previous experience from a similar role as a System Engineer/Technician where you have gained good technical/mechanical understanding and the ability to troubleshoot and work with the management and maintenance of technical systems
- Are capable of independently and in teams carrying out installations, testing, verification, and integration of hardware/software, investigations, and creating decision support materials
- Are accustomed to handling customer and supplier dialogues
- Are comfortable working at heights
- Have a strong technical interest and want to work both theoretically and practically
- Communicate fluently in Swedish (written and spoken), as well as comfortably in English
- Hold Swedish citizenship, as the position is security classified
- Have a B driver's license and are open to travel within Sweden
Meritorious qualifications
- Knowledge in electronics or maintenance technology
- Experience with measurement technology in RF
- Knowledge in logistics and/or maintenance
- Experience in project management
- Previous experience from FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) or the Swedish Armed Forces
