Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who wants to take a leading role in the development and delivery of advanced communication systems for our GlobalEye AEW&C aircraft. Here, you will work with solutions within radio, satellite communication, and networks – systems that are crucial for our customers' operational capability in complex and demanding environments.

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for leading the technical work throughout the project's lifecycle, from early customer dialogues and system analyses to integration, verification, and delivery. You work closely with project management, systems engineers, development teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure that technical solutions meet both business needs and contractual requirements.

The role involves clear leadership within Systems Engineering where you plan, coordinate, and follow up on the technical work, ensuring that development occurs in a structured and efficient manner. You lead cross-functional teams and create the conditions for different specialist areas to collaborate towards common goals.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Lead and plan the technical work within projects and product development.
• Coordinate and drive Systems Engineering work throughout the system's lifecycle.
• Ensure that technical processes, reviews, and decision points are carried out according to plan.
• Be responsible for requirements management, system analyses, and technical documentation for project and customer decisions.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and challenges and drive actions to manage these.
• Lead technical dialogues with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Participate in business and quotation work by contributing with technical solutions, system analyses, and architecture work.
• Ensure progress in cross-functional teams and create good collaboration between different technical areas.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience leading technically complex projects and who thrive in the borderland between technology and leadership. You have several years of experience in systems work, system development, or technical project management.

You have a structured approach, a strong interest in technology, and the ability to create engagement and direction in cross-functional teams. You are accustomed to navigating complex organizations and feel comfortable in dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders.

We would like you to have experience of Systems Engineering and a lifecycle perspective on system development. If you have worked with communication systems within radio, satellite communication, or networks, it is an advantage.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• An engineering degree, preferably at the level of a Master of Science or Master's degree.
• Several years of experience in technical project management, system development, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
• Ability to translate requirements and needs into feasible technical solutions.
• Experience working closely with customers and other stakeholders.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience of Systems Engineering according to INCOSE principles and methods.
• Certification in Systems Engineering, e.g., ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.
• Experience with radio, satellite communication, or networks.
• Experience in areas such as system safety, IT security, environmental tolerance, ILS/IPS.
• Certifications in project management.
• Experience from the defense industry or other safety-critical operations.
• Experience from international project environments.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
