Your Role

Do you want to continue developing as a project manager within technically advanced projects? We are now looking for a Project Manager for our project office in Arboga. In this role, you will drive projects related to the establishment of maintenance capabilities for airborne electronics test and maintenance systems, primarily for the Gripen and AEW.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring projects throughout the entire execution phase, from initiation to delivery. You ensure that project goals are met according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements, while handling changes and challenges that may arise along the way. The role involves significant independent responsibility, but you will also work closely with experienced colleagues within the project office and have access to a strong network of specialist competencies.

You work closely with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers, playing a central role in creating structure, coordination, and momentum in the projects. A key part of the work is identifying and managing risks, making well-founded decisions, and ensuring that project activities are driven efficiently towards set goals. Here you have the opportunity to combine technical understanding with project management in a complex and exciting business.

The location is Arboga, but domestic and international travel may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in project management, sub-project management, or coordination responsibility and who now want to take the next step in your career. You are confident in driving projects forward and handling multiple stakeholders simultaneously, but you still see great opportunities to develop your project management skills.

As a person, you are structured, engaged, and solution-oriented. You have a good ability to prioritize, make decisions, and create clarity even when conditions change. You are analytical and see connections between different parts of the business, while having a pragmatic approach and a focus on results.

You are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships with various stakeholders. Through your leadership, you create engagement and collaboration both within the project team and in contact with customers, suppliers, and other partners. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

In addition to the above, we see that you have:

• Experience in project management, sub-project management, or another role with coordination and delivery responsibility
• Education from a university or college with a technical focus, or equivalent experience
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good technical understanding and interest in complex technical systems
• Experience in working with planning, monitoring, and risk management in projects is an advantage

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
