Your Role

We are looking for a Software Developer specializing in C# and .NET who wants to help develop advanced software solutions for the Gripen support system, Mission Support System (MSS). You will become part of a small, high-performing team of 6-8 people where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus. We place great importance on having fun together at work and believe that well-being and community are important parts of performing well.

The position is located in Arboga, and the work is performed on-site together with the team.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a Master of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent, along with a few years of experience in software development, preferably with a focus on C#/.NET and Windows applications. You have a good understanding of software development processes and are familiar with agile working methods. You are confident in your technical foundation and wish to continue developing in your role, both through your own responsibility and in collaboration with more experienced colleagues. You take initiative, contribute ideas, and have an interest in diving into complex systems.

It is an advantage if you have experience with open source, personal projects, or a generally strong commitment to software development.

You are social, forward-looking, and have good self-awareness. We also look for someone who has a humble approach to working in an environment with advanced software systems that have been developed over a long period. The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures applicable at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

Please note that the selection process will take place during the summer. Interviews are expected to be conducted in August/September.
