Your Role
Are you detail-oriented, service-minded, and technically interested? Do you also have previous experience working customer-oriented in a team? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for as we seek a new colleague for our section.
In your role as Systems Engineer within Basic and Logistics Data (GoF), you will primarily support our customers, the Swedish Armed Forces (FM) and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), in their operations, particularly within aviation. You will be part of our Parts Data team, which, in addition to GoF, works with several related areas, such as item data in Saab's internal support systems and deliveries to customers using the NATO Codification System. We work on larger projects within Saab AB and collaborate closely with our systems engineers in design, production, and aftermarket areas.
You will belong to the CAMO and Logistic Services Division within the Aeronautics business area. Our team provides both technical and chemical support to our customers. The Aeronautics business area is an innovative supplier of world-class aircraft systems and offers a wide range of support solutions within civil and military aviation. Research, development, and production of military aircraft systems are conducted within the business area, along with future studies preparing for future manned and unmanned flight systems and the further development of existing products.
The CAMO and Logistic Services Division consists of six sections and has approximately 120 employees located in Linköping, Arboga, Såtenäs, Järfälla, Luleå, Växjö, and Uppsala. The position involves some travel, primarily domestic.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collection and processing of identifying and technical data.
- Registration and maintenance of new consumables with specific terms for the relevant material in the customer's consumable data management system.
- Analysis, registration, and maintenance of item data in Saab's internal support system.
Your Profile
For this position, we are looking for you who:
- Have good collaboration skills and relate to other people in a listening and flexible manner.
- Are detail-oriented and place great importance on meeting quality requirements.
- Take initiative and naturally structure and drive your processes to completion independently.
- Are positive, flexible, and to some extent stress-resistant – personal qualities are highly valued.
Requirements for the position:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in working with Windows.
- Experience in working with customer-related issues.
Merits:
- Experience working with consumable data/item data in any of the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems within the logistics area.
- It is particularly meritorious if you have specifically worked with data entry of consumable data in FMV's support system Teamcenter or its predecessor PDR.
- Experience working with item data in IFS.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, citizenship may be required in certain cases.
