You will join a crucial phase at a large municipal organization facing a vendor change in outsourced IT operations and related services. The role is central to the transition between the current and new vendor, where you represent the client side and hold the work together in an environment with many stakeholders, business-critical infrastructure, and high demands for structure.

You will become the natural link between the external project organization and the internal operations. Together with relevant parties, you shape the working methods, responsibilities, and planning for the transition, while driving progress, creating clarity, and capturing risks and dependencies. • You develop and follow up on the project plan, activities, and milestones together with the vendor and internal project team.
• You participate in steering group meetings and drive the follow-up of decisions, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
• You act as the main point of contact between the vendor's project organization and the internal project organization.
• You plan, allocate, and coordinate the efforts that need to be carried out on the client side.
• You ensure clear communication planning towards the operations and relevant stakeholders.
• You work closely with internal resources and functional owners to keep the transition together in practice.
• You monitor the budget and contribute to keeping the project on the right track throughout the implementation.
• You act as a hub and escalation point for internal stakeholders when issues need to be resolved quickly and collectively.

• Very good knowledge of project management for IT transitions at the Enterprise level, where assignments have involved multiple service areas, multiple vendors or stakeholders, business-critical IT infrastructure, establishment or transition of ITSM and support processes, technical migration or takeover, and steering towards a steering group.
• Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the role of project manager.
• At least two assignments as lead project manager or program manager for completed IT transitions at the Enterprise level on the client side, or in a corresponding leading role responsible for steering, risks, dependencies, and delivery approval.
• Documented experience in vendor management and collaboration with multiple parties, including new vendor, outgoing vendor, internal operations, and steering group.

• Experience with large IT assignments within municipal operations, regions, government agencies, or other public organizations with complex stakeholder structures, requirements for formal steering, information security, transparency or confidentiality, and procured vendor agreements.
• Experience as a project manager in several of the areas: IT operations, IT workplace, service desk, ITSM, networking, identity, client management, security, and cloud or hybrid environments.
