Your Role

As a Test & Lab Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a central role in enabling system integration and verification of advanced airborne communication systems.

You will be responsible for establishing, developing, and managing test infrastructure, lab environments, and reference systems for our GlobalEye AEW&C solutions. Here, complex systems within radio, satellite communication, and networking are integrated and verified.

The role entails overall responsibility for ensuring that our development, integration, and verification activities can be carried out efficiently, robustly, and with high quality. The work is performed in close collaboration with development teams, delivery projects, support projects, and other parts of Saab.

Your Responsibilities:

• Establish, develop, and manage lab environments and reference systems
• Design and implement modular and mobile test solutions, such as racks and integration rigs
• Support planning, preparation, and execution of system integration and verification
• Contribute to the development of integration, verification, and validation setups
• Ensure configuration management, structure, and traceability in the lab environments
• Participate in integration and troubleshooting as needed
• Contribute to the development of methods, working practices, and technical solutions within the area

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in complex technical systems who thrives in a role close to both system design and system integration.

You have the ability to structure and organize, and you are driven by creating working solutions in reality.

We see that you have:

• Several years of experience in testing, verification, or system integration
• Experience in building up or further developing lab environments or test infrastructure
• Good understanding of processes for system design and system integration
• Ability to combine strategic work with operational, hands-on work

Meritorious:

• Experience with hardware-centric systems as well as communication and network solutions
• Experience from aviation or defense systems
• Experience working in environments with high demands for robustness and reliability
• Knowledge in EMC, environmental testing, or system qualification
• Experience with configuration management in complex system environments
• Experience in technical leadership

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
