Do you want to take a leading role in the testing, verification, and system integration of complex technical systems? We are now looking for a Test and Verification Lead – a key role for you who thrive in moving between technology, structure, and leadership.

Your Role

As a Test and Verification Lead, you play a central role in systems engineering, with a focus on system verification, validation, and integration. You are responsible for planning, leading, and monitoring activities throughout the entire system lifecycle – from early design to final delivery.

The role combines operational work with clear leadership responsibility. You often act as a deputy project manager, driving work forward in cross-functional teams where you make decisions and ensure progress. In our part of the business, you will work with advanced systems for our GlobalEye aircraft.

In this role, you are responsible for:

• Planning, directing, and monitoring verification and validation activities
• Ensuring that system integration takes place in a controlled manner and according to set criteria
• Leading test, verification, and integration activities according to defined processes
• Coordinating work between different sub-projects and stakeholders
• Ensuring traceability, documentation, and clear reporting

You also work close to the technology and contribute operationally by:

• Developing and further developing strategies, specifications, and criteria for verification and integration
• Conducting and analyzing tests and following up on results
• Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and technical limitations
• Reporting status, deviations, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong technical foundation and who thrive in a role where you get to combine analysis, structure, and leadership. You have experience working with complex systems and a good understanding of how these are developed, verified, and integrated over time.

You bring several of the following experiences and skills:

• Experience in system development and work with verification, validation, or integration
• Good understanding of requirements management and system lifecycles
• Ability to produce, analyze, and structure technical documentation
• Knowledge of configuration management of systems and support systems

You also have a holistic view and understanding of how different parts of the business fit together, for example, connections to engineering, procurement, and production. This enables you to navigate effectively between technology, process, and organization.

We would like you to also have experience leading technical activities, teams, or sub-projects, especially in environments with many dependencies and stakeholders.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and your leadership. You dare to make decisions, even when the material is not complete, and you have the ability to create structure in complex contexts. At the same time, you are communicative and accustomed to collaborating with different functions and competencies.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
