Rehabilitation Medicine at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) is one of Sweden's largest players within rehabilitation. Our operations are located both in Lund and at Orup Hospital outside Höör, where each unit has its own profile and competence.

The Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Sus is one of Sweden's leading providers of spinal cord injury care and rehabilitation. We have been given the great trust by the National Board of Health and Welfare to operate as one of four nationally highly specialized units.

At Orup Hospital, we offer highly specialized rehabilitation for people who have suffered acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, or other conditions requiring intensive and team-based rehabilitation. The hospital is beautifully located by Ringsjön lake and surrounded by forests and walking trails, enriching both the patients' rehabilitation and the work environment for you as an employee.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for nursing assistants for our operations at Orup Hospital in Höör, where you will have a stimulating, meaningful, and varied job!

Here, you work closely together with many different professional categories such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, where you all have the patient in focus and base your work on their needs. The team meets several times a week to discuss with the patient how the rehabilitation is progressing and to review current goals.

Your employment begins with a guided introduction, shadowing, and training within Rehabilitation Medicine, where we also have a collaboration with relevant emergency care within Sus and our other units in Lund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. It is an advantage if you have experience within rehabilitation and if you have knowledge and/or experience within emergency care.

As a person, you are flexible, have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and have an interest in working pedagogically and motivationally. Furthermore, you take initiative and are independent while contributing to a good collaboration climate. We value that you have a good attitude towards everyone around you and a service-oriented mindset. Furthermore, we believe that you adapt easily and can reprioritize when circumstances change.
