RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with the review, payment, and follow-up of approved financing, with a focus on project grants. The support is paid out as applications for payment are received. During this process, you review the financial documentation, and your role is to ensure that the funds have been used for the right purposes and in the correct manner. You work in the case management system Nyps. The role also includes responsibility for document management and diary registration, as well as tasks related to monitoring how the funds are used.

You collaborate with colleagues who have been responsible for processing the case prior to the financing decision. In your work, you have daily contact via email, phone, or visits with actors throughout the region. You also need to proactively work to ensure that actors who have been granted support submit payment applications according to plan. Naturally, you also actively participate in operational development and improvement work, contributing to an efficient and legally secure way of working.

QUALIFICATIONS

An academic education with a focus on business administration is advantageous. You must have a good ability to read and understand economic accounting and reporting. Good knowledge of Swedish and basic digital competence are also required to perform the job. You should be able to apply current regulations, rules, and guidelines in a legally secure, equal, yet friendly and helpful manner.

To thrive and contribute to the work, you should show interest in promoting sustainable regional development. It is beneficial if you have an understanding of working in a politically governed organization, and we welcome applicants with previous experience working as a review or project economist. In the role, you need to be structured and able to sort through large amounts of information. Your duties include issuing both positive and negative decisions regarding payments. Therefore, it is important that you can communicate in a constructive, clear, and pleasant manner. We would appreciate it if you have experience working in the case management system Nyps or a similar system in previous roles. Last but not least, we are looking for a pleasant colleague with high social competence and teamwork skills, which will also be weighted in the selection process.
