Project Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced and structured Project Manager to lead the extensive implementation of a new IT contract within their organization. This is a strategically important assignment involving the coordination of several parallel activities related to contracts, suppliers, technology, and business operations. It is a fixed-price engagement.

The project entails ensuring a smooth transition to the new contract, implementing associated services, and establishing working methods for management and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and monitor the implementation project according to established goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure coordination between IT, business units, and external suppliers.
• Drive the transition from the existing contract to the new one, including migration and change management.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and critical activities.
• Ensure clear communication and reporting to the steering group and stakeholders.
• Establish structure for follow-up, governance, and ongoing management.

Required Qualifications:

• Documented experience leading large-scale IT implementation projects or transformation programs within the public sector.
• Experience working with IT contracts, outsourcing, sourcing, or supplier management.
• Experience in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Ability to work structurally with project models such as PPS, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience from the public sector or large organizations.
• Experience in change management.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, digital workplace, or business systems.
• Experience with contract transitions and supplier changes.
