The Delegation for the Circular Economy is an advisory body to the government with the aim of facilitating and driving the business sector's transition to a circular economy that strengthens Swedish competitiveness.

Responsibilities

You will work at the secretariat together with three senior colleagues. Your tasks will include contributing to daily operations, such as booking meetings, arranging events, and organizing activities conducted by the delegation.

You will work on preparing background materials and analyzing large volumes of text, including in connection with the Delegation's work on circular key indicators, indicators for the circular economy, and follow-up plans.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

• Relevant natural science or technical education at university or college level, for example as a natural or environmental scientist or a civil engineer.
• Good knowledge of the circular economy, indicators for the circular economy, and other countries' approaches to circular economy indicators.
• Good understanding of material flows and resource use.
• Strong ability to compile and analyze large amounts of text and data.
• Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Merits:

• Experience working or interning within a government agency regarding the circular economy from a national perspective.
• Experience working for a board-led organization.

About the Position

The position is a fixed-term employment for 6 months on a full-time basis, starting in August. The position is located in Stockholm. We apply individual salary setting.
