The Orthopedics Business Area currently consists of three wards, one located in Lund and two in Malmö. The orthopedic ward in Lund is an acute care unit with 21 beds. The ward's profile focuses on acute patients with common orthopedic diagnoses and patients with prosthetic-related infections, where we offer advanced medical and surgical treatment.

At our workplace, we work according to Region Skåne's Competence and Service Model. Lund is home to one of Sweden's sarcoma centers, where our ward contributes high-specialized care and treatment for sarcoma patients from southern Sweden. Our broad competence means you will work with multi-morbid adult patients of varying ages.

Job Description

We are now looking for three nursing assistants for permanent positions. One of the nursing assistant positions will also include a small portion of managerial support duties.

Working on an orthopedic ward is varied and rewarding, where no two days are alike. As a nursing assistant, you will handle a variety of tasks including pre- and post-operative care as well as rehabilitation, giving you the opportunity to develop and take on new challenges. In a cross-professional team, you will work together with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists with a shared responsibility for the patients in your team. The team also works closely with social workers and pharmacists to ensure a holistic perspective.

The role offers you varied, stimulating, and educational work where you are given the opportunity for personal development and training. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied under the previous or current curriculum structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.

It is an advantage if you have work experience in hospital care. Experience from orthopedic operations is desirable. Since you, as a nursing assistant, work in Melior and other administrative systems, we would appreciate it if you have good computer skills.
