About the Division
OPL J6 is responsible for management systems and cyber defense in the Swedish Armed Forces' operational activities, both nationally and internationally. The responsibility includes, among other things, communications, information systems, and signal security issues, as well as cyber security and cyber defense.
Main Duties
As a Staff Assistant at OPL J6, you will be placed at the Management Systems Section, but will provide support to the entire division with information management and administration. Collaboration with other divisions and units within the Operations Command and the Headquarters is expected, and other tasks may be added as needed.
In the role, you will among other things:
- support the division with information management in both email systems, in SharePoint (e.g., the case management system Vidar and in SWECCIS), and in physical documents.
- provide administrative support in connection with meetings and travel (e.g., room bookings, invitations, minutes).
- provide practical support to the division and act as a contact person for common functions at the Headquarters (e.g., regarding premises issues).
- participate in the division's training activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Complete upper secondary education with passing grades
- Completed basic training with conscription with passing marks
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Swedish citizenship

QUALIFICATIONS
- Position-specific training and/or previous service as a Staff Assistant
- Section Leader training from conscription/basic training
- Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems and applications, PRIO/SAP, VIDAR, SWECCIS, ISUS, SHAREPOINT
- Completed basic course in security service
- Signal security training
- Completed basic course in staff service
- Previously employed within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Experience from work in other public administration
- Experience in service-oriented administrative work
- Knowledge of NATO systems and general experience of NATO processes and working methods
- Category B driver's license
OTHER
Employment type: GSS/K, the employment begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment level: Full-time
Work location: Stockholm
Start date: By agreement.
The position may involve travel as well as evening and weekend duty, which is normally planned well in advance.
As the position is classified, a security investigation with register check will be conducted. All employees in the Swedish Armed Forces are mobilized for war.

The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. From 2023-01-01, the Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters' Staff Division and independent supervision units. An employment with us involves placement in a security classification. Swedish citizenship is usually required. A security investigation with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be mobilized for war.
