The clinic serves children and young people up to the age of 17 with permanent disabilities such as mobility impairments, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism, as well as their families. Our operations are based on an interdisciplinary, child- and family-centered approach, meaning that the child and family have full participation in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of dietitian, you work with children and young people who have permanent disabilities and nutritional issues. Your tasks include assessing nutritional status and designing nutritional treatment based on the individual patient's needs and conditions. The focus is on enteral nutrition and growth deviations/malnutrition. Here, you work with both tube feeding and food choices, enrichment, and dietary supplements. Additionally, you participate in nutritional clinics and have contact with the patient's family or guardians. In your role, you collaborate with your colleagues in the multidisciplinary team, primarily with the nurses at the unit. In addition to the unit team, you have close contact with other dietitian colleagues located at other clinics in Skåne.

Here, you have the opportunity to work both digitally with certain parts of patient care, on-site, and from home.

As a new employee, you are offered an introduction based on previous experience, where a dietitian colleague acts as a supervisor during the introduction period.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed dietitian with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in habilitation and/or experience working with children and young people with various disabilities. It is also an advantage if you have good knowledge of the Office package and PMO, as well as a valid B-driver's license.

You value good relationships with your colleagues and are happy to share experiences to offer our patients the best possible care. Your curiosity and genuine interest in working with habilitation are important qualities. Personal suitability is given great weight.
