Are you a high school teacher with experience teaching science subjects and mathematics? Do you want to use your subject knowledge and experience with knowledge assessments to develop national tests and final exams that strengthen equity in schools? We are looking for you, who are analytical, structured, and enjoy having many contacts both internally and externally. Join us and contribute to the future of education!
About the job
In this role, you are responsible for national tests in mathematics and national final exams in science subjects and mathematics at the upper secondary level. You will be driving the work of finding solutions for how these tests can be designed and developed in line with the government's mandate for a new grading system and the Swedish National Agency for Education's framework for national final exams.
You will have close contact with the suppliers who, on behalf of the Swedish National Agency for Education, construct test items. You will also collaborate closely with colleagues at the Agency who are responsible for tests in other subjects and at other levels. You represent the Agency in matters within your area of work and will make great use of your knowledge and experience.
You work both independently and in teams. In this job, you will contribute to the development of the Swedish testing system and a new grading system focused on equitable grades and merit values. The work is varied, complex, and involves many contacts both internally and externally.

Currently, eight people work at the section, among other things responsible for the development of national final exams in several subjects at the compulsory school and upper secondary levels. Together with other sections, the section also participates in communication and implementation efforts related to national final exams and the Swedish testing system.
"Welcome to apply for this important and varied job where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the country's future testing system!"
