Are you a teacher in science subjects and mathematics in grade 9, and do you want to help develop the future national testing system? We are looking for you who are a certified teacher, have good knowledge of the Swedish school system, and experience with knowledge assessments. In this role, you contribute to the development of national tests and upcoming final exams in work that is crucial for ensuring that students receive equitable grading. About the job
You are responsible for national tests and upcoming final exams in science subjects and mathematics in grade 9. In this role, you take the lead in finding solutions for how the tests can be designed and developed in accordance with the government's mandate for introducing a new grading system and the Swedish National Agency for Education's framework for national final exams. You maintain close contact with suppliers who, on behalf of the Agency, construct test items, and you collaborate extensively with colleagues at the Agency responsible for tests in other subjects and at other levels.
You work both independently and in teams. The work is varied, complex, and involves many contacts both internally and externally. You represent the Swedish National Agency for Education in matters within your area of responsibility, and you will make great use of your knowledge and experience in teaching, assessment, and knowledge measurement.
You belong to the Section for National Tests within the Area for Tests and Assessment. Currently, eight people work on the section, responsible for national tests, screening materials, assessment support, and standardized tests in primary school. Within the Area for Tests and Assessment, there is close cooperation between the sections, meaning that employees work on issues that span across section boundaries.
