About the workplace
We offer an exciting and developmental role with significant personal responsibility. The position of Investigator is located within the central administrative unit of the Education Administration. This unit works with central administrative processes that support the core activities within the education sector. The unit's goal is to achieve the best possible efficiency in administrative processes to provide full support to the Education Administration's operational areas and contribute to meeting set goals.
The tasks are varied, offering significant influence and responsibility. Responsibilities
The duties are varied and multifaceted, including primarily:
- Investigate and prepare cases for the Education Board and the Education Administration.
- Ensure that the Education Administration's decisions and assessments are legally sound.
- Support the Education Administration in the work with complaint and harassment investigations.
- Collaborate with other administrations and relevant external actors.
- Conduct environmental scanning of current and upcoming legislation.
- Prepare materials for the Swedish Schools Inspectorate, the Child and Student Ombudsman (BoE), and the Swedish National Agency for Education.
- Revise or draft guidelines and routines.
Qualifications
You have a university degree of at least 180 credits with a focus on public administration or law, or another university education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have at least two years of experience in qualified investigative work or corresponding experience, as well as experience with digital administrative processes. Furthermore, you have good competence in information security and the handling of personal data.
You have good insight into how modern digital tools and AI-based methods can be used for analysis, information gathering, and the creation of decision support materials. You are curious about the possibilities of technology, see how it can develop working methods, and have the ability to use AI in a responsible, ethical, and efficient manner within the Education Administration's work processes.
Merits include experience working in politically directed operations and familiarity with handling complex and time-critical assignments, as well as preparing cases for boards, handling delegation decisions, and experience in similar tasks. It is also meritorious to have good knowledge of educational administrative processes, experience in creating materials for guidelines and official documents, and experience in investigating complaints and harassment. Knowledge of the DF Respons system and experience working in the case management system Evolution are also meritorious.
To succeed in the role, you have very good communication skills, both oral and written. You can create pedagogically clear material with good linguistic quality and thoughtful layout. You work independently but also have good collaboration skills. You are judicious, confident in professional assessments, and meticulous and structured. You are accustomed to handling complex and time-critical assignments.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
