Responsibilities

Your main areas of responsibility are:

• Develop and implement strategic category plans.
• Drive project purchasing in close collaboration with internal project teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and establish supplier agreements.
• Work systematically with supplier development and follow-up.
• Conduct cost analyses as well as follow-up and reporting in Excel.
• Ensure delivery security, quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a combination of strategic and project-based work.
• An academic education in purchasing, engineering, or economics, or equivalent experience.
• Good negotiation skills and a business-minded approach.
• Strong analytical ability and good knowledge of Excel.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Experience from the manufacturing or automotive industry is an advantage.

JTEKT Column Systems AB is a system supplier that develops, produces, and sells adjustable steering columns, telescopic shafts, and valves to the leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, and agricultural machinery in Europe. The company is the market leader for steering columns for heavy vehicles in Europe, a position achieved through successful product development and production.
