We are now looking for a driven and engaged Team Leader/Mentor for our second-hand store in Nyköping!

Our second-hand stores operate as social enterprises. The activity makes a significant societal and climate contribution by creating jobs and collecting clothes and goods. With us, people get the opportunity to approach, or return to, working life through practice and work training. At the same time, we contribute to reduced new production and thereby reduced impact on environmental resources.

In the role of Team Leader, you have a multifaceted job where no day is like the other. You participate in store operations with coordinating responsibilities, acting as the store manager's right hand. You contribute to the store meeting daily sales targets and operating according to our business idea. The value base is an important tool in the work, and together with your colleagues, you convey our value base to participants in work training, customers, donors, volunteers, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and distribute operational and daily work in accordance with the business plan, Stockholm City Mission's value base, as well as current agreements, laws, and policies.
  • Ensure that work is organized so that goals can be met, including team division, scheduling, staffing, prioritization, etc.
  • Assist the store manager in managing and developing the customer and donor experience at the unit.
  • Assist the store manager in ensuring that the store experience aligns with the concept and current campaigns.
  • Responsible for coordinating how practical vocational knowledge at the unit is conveyed to employees, volunteers, and participants.
  • Assist the store manager in managing and developing social engagement locally and for social enterprise.
  • Assist the store manager in managing communication and updating information, news, guidelines, and policies.
  • Act as deputy manager when the regular manager is absent.

We are looking for you who

  • Have experience in mentoring, coaching, and working with people in a socially disadvantaged position.
  • Have experience in daily planning and scheduling.
  • Have experience in teaching your knowledge to others and giving instructions to a group of people.
  • Have experience in signage, product display, and store communication.
  • Are a good leader who is motivated by developing and working with people.
  • Are sensitive with a great commitment to people's different qualities and experiences.
  • Meritorious: Experience in the role of store manager or deputy store manager in retail with personnel responsibility and operational leadership responsibility.
  • Identify with Stockholm City Mission's value base.

Other

The position is a permanent employment at 75%. We apply an initial probationary period. Start date by agreement.
