NG Nordic is establishing its local procurement team in Katrineholm.
At NG Nordic's facility in Katrineholm, a lot is happening simultaneously. Production, logistics, and daily operations need to run without interruption – and the company has now chosen to create a new role to get even closer to the operations. They are currently looking for an Operational Buyer for the facility in Katrineholm.
This is not about strategic purchasing far removed from the operations or long multi-level processes. Instead, the idea is for procurement to be close to the people, the production, and what is happening on the floor every day.

NG Nordic's operations in Katrineholm work with, among other things, electronics recycling. The role of Operational Buyer becomes an important part of the daily work where the pace is sometimes high and needs can change quickly.
The focus is on purchasing related to ongoing operations – everything from maintenance materials and industrial parts to consumables and logistics-related purchases.
This is also why the company is looking for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and enjoys being close to the operations.
Here, you need to be someone who gets things done, has an easy time collaborating with different types of people, and thrives in an environment where the pace is sometimes high.
The role is new and has been created based on a clear need within the organization. The goal is to build a more present procurement function where the operations receive faster support in their daily work and where communication between production and procurement becomes tighter.

Examples of tasks:
- Responsible for operational purchases related to daily site operations.
- Purchase maintenance materials, industrial parts, and other consumables.
- Work closely with production and logistics to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
- Handle orders, follow-ups, and delivery monitoring.
- Collaborate with employees in the operations as well as internal functions.
- Order entry in procurement systems and other systems related to procurement and administration.
- Support the operations in procurement-related matters and find practical solutions in everyday life.
- Contribute to developing and building the local procurement work at the site.
- Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers regarding prices, deliveries, and procurement needs.
- Be present in the operations and create close collaboration between procurement and production.

We are looking for you who thrive in a practical and operation-close role where collaboration, pace, and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday life. You are confident in yourself, have an easy time contacting people, and enjoy working in an environment where a lot is happening.
We would like you to have:
- Experience of purchasing within industry, production, or manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of operational purchasing flows and daily operations in an industrial environment.
- Experience working close to production, logistics, or maintenance.
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience working in business systems, preferably SAP.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize in a high-paced environment.
- A solution-oriented and non-hierarchical approach to work.
- Good communication skills and an easy time collaborating with different functions.
- Category B driver's license and access to a private car.
It is meritorious if you have experience from recycling, industry, or other operations where purchasing takes place close to daily production.
The work is primarily based in Katrineholm with presence at the facility four days a week and one day in Gävle. Therefore, both a B driver's license and access to a private car are required.
