Eklandaskolan in Mölndal is a preschool class to grade 6 school with approximately 480 students. We are an important part of the children's journey from Eklanda preschools to Fässbergsskolan, where students complete their compulsory education. This journey is lined with stability, security, and long-term perspective.

Eklandaskolan is a well-organized school with a school leadership team consisting of a principal and two deputy principals, one responsible for the compulsory school and the other for the leisure-time center. All to create an operation adapted to the student's needs together.

Job Responsibilities
As a certified teacher in grade 1, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum. You create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites. The assignment includes:
- Mentorship and planning and leading teaching for grade 1.
- Working language-developing and structured with early reading and writing acquisition.
- Following up and documenting students' knowledge development, including in digital systems.
- Adapting teaching to students' needs and collaborating with the student health service when necessary.
- Creating good relationships with students and guardians, as well as having a clear and secure leadership role in the classroom.
- Collaborating in the work team regarding planning, assessment, and development of teaching.
- Contributing to the school's development work and a positive culture where students' learning is at the center.
Qualifications
- Certified compulsory school teacher with eligibility to teach in grades preschool class to 3.
- Good ability to create a safe, structured, and varied teaching that meets students where they are.
- Experience working with digital tools in teaching, such as iPads and computers.
- Ability to work structured and plan teaching and activities in good time.
- Very good interpersonal skills and ability to show respect and consideration in all professional encounters.
- Collaborative and accustomed to working in work teams to create good learning environments and achieve common goals.
- Commitment to students' well-being and their opportunities to achieve the highest possible goal fulfillment.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
