We are looking for up to two teaching assistants for the Department of Computer Science to work on annotation tasks during the summer.

About the job

The tasks include annotating datasets for use in language technology research, primarily for the evaluation of large language models.

About you

To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to a higher education program at the undergraduate or advanced level. A teaching assistant position requires that the employee is studying at Linköping University. The work is performed on-site.

You must have very good written skills in Swedish and English. Knowledge of additional languages, a basic understanding of linguistics, experience working with large language models, and programming skills in Python are meritorious.

Your workplace

The Department of Computer Science (IDA) was founded in 1983, but our roots go back to the early 1970s. It is one of the largest computer science departments in Northern Europe. Our research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from fundamental computer science to applied fields. The extensive research also influences our undergraduate and doctoral education, leading us to offer courses within several civil engineering and university engineering programs, as well as programs in innovative programming, cognitive science, and statistics. About the employment

The employment is fixed-term during the summer of 2026 and the extent is 50 percent of full-time.

A teaching assistant position is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance.
