Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Ystad consists of an outpatient unit where outpatient care is the basis of the clinical operations. Here you will also find an intermediate care unit, an eating disorders team, and a toddler and preschooler unit. We are a staff group of approximately 45 employees, consisting of nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, healthcare counselors, social workers, child psychiatrists, resident doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PTP psychologists, and unit managers. During the terms, there are often also social work students, psychology students, and nursing students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you work with children, young people, and their families. With us, you perform common nursing tasks within the scope of your competence, both independently and as part of a team. Duties may include telephone advice, follow-up of medication treatment, digital interventions, conversations, group therapy, information meetings, and registration in quality registers. Bup Ystad also actively participates in various forms of collaboration, such as network work in cooperation with schools and municipalities in the surrounding area.

Our operations are characterized by broad child and adolescent psychiatric competence with a strong focus on developmental issues and cross-professional collaboration between the different professional groups. We have an ambition to develop care and offer you good opportunities for professional development and continuous training based on interest and in line with patient needs and operational goals. We offer you a tailored introduction based on your competencies and experience. Supervision and mentoring occur in various forms, and the introductory period is approximately three weeks.

Working hours are weekdays 08:00-16:30 with a flexible working hours agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. If you have specialized training in psychiatry or child and adolescent healthcare, we see this as meritorious. Furthermore, it is positive if you have previous work experience as a nurse and/or work experience within child psychiatric assessment, treatment, and investigation work. It is also meritorious if you have experience with the medical record system Melior and the booking system Våps.

It is important that you enjoy and have an interest in working with groups, family work, individual contacts, as well as collaborating with colleagues and care partners. The work requires that you have good initiative, are responsible, and flexible. Furthermore, you contribute positively to teamwork by sharing your knowledge and experiences. You also have the desire, commitment, and enthusiasm to contribute to knowledge and operational development. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Habilitation provides habilitation and rehabilitation within publicly driven child, adolescent, and adult habilitation. Assistive devices have the mandate to handle assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. Within the administration, there is also vision, hearing, and deaf services, and youth clinics in Skåne.
