We are now looking for an Educational Advisor who will work on developing and managing the regulatory documents for upper secondary schools and adapted upper secondary schools, with a focus on the nature and agriculture area. About the Job
In the role of Educational Advisor, you contribute to a nationally equivalent high-quality education by managing and developing the regulatory documents that apply to upper secondary schools and adapted upper secondary schools. Among other things, you are responsible for the upper secondary school's nature and agriculture program, including its regulatory documents, and the program for forestry, land, and animals within the adapted upper secondary school.
You use and develop expert knowledge about subjects, programs, and school forms, and participate in the creation and implementation of regulatory documents. The work also involves reading and processing large amounts of text in the form of, for example, consultations and reports. You will also participate in implementing various government assignments.
You collaborate with other units within the Swedish National Agency for Education as well as with various actors in the field, such as industry and interest organizations and other authorities. You are also responsible for organizing and leading the national program council for the nature and agriculture program, and you are part of other similar council forums related to your program responsibility.
You work in a unit with approximately 20 colleagues with different program responsibilities and specialist areas, where your different competencies complement each other in close cooperation.

Requirements for this job
- academic degree with a focus on pedagogy or other education that we assess as equivalent
- several years of current experience in educational development at the upper secondary level
- very good knowledge of the upper secondary school's control and responsibility system as well as the regulatory documents
- experience in reviewing and processing texts in Swedish and English
- very good ability and experience in expressing yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
It is meritorious if you have current experience of working with the nature and agriculture program and the program for forestry, land, and nature. It is also meritorious if you have research experience in these areas or alternatively in another area relevant to the position. Previous service as a principal or school manager with responsibility for these programs, as well as experience in investigative work within public operations, is also meritorious.

- the ability to independently structure and prioritize your tasks within given timeframes, as the workload is partly uneven and sometimes intense
- be meticulous and well aware of goals and quality requirements
- have a good ability to analyze complex issues and have a holistic perspective on education
- be proactive and take responsibility for the common result
- be unpretentious and have very good collaboration skills, as the work involves many and varied contacts both internally and externally
- have good communication skills and adapt communication to the situation and recipient.
