Do you want to make a difference and be a source of security for people living in supported housing? Then this might be the job for you! We are now looking for new colleagues who want to work either on awake night shifts or day/evening shifts as hourly employees. As a substitute, you may potentially serve at all three residences.
Job Responsibilities
Tretakten is a municipal intrapreneurship in the southwest and consists of three Supported Housing (BmSS) facilities with a psychiatric focus: Bankogatan, Norra Dragspelsgatan, and Trumgatan. You who work in an intrapreneurship are expected to take greater responsibility for the operation as a whole; in return, you get greater opportunities to influence your own work and the operation. Trust and professional judgment are central to us.
The target group living with us are adults with intellectual or psychiatric disabilities who need support interventions in everyday contexts, such as home life, leisure, care, and social support. During the night, you have a security function where you are available for conversation and contact, as well as responsible for laundry and cleaning tasks in the operation.
You will receive guidance from experienced staff and delegation from a nurse.
All social documentation takes place in the documentation system TRESERVA.
Note that you can only have one employment within the City of Gothenburg.
Qualifications
You who apply for the position must be at least 18 years old, in accordance with the regulations on the working environment for minors (AFS 2012:3). We consider it meritorious if you are educated or have ongoing education with relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Another requirement for the position is that you must master the Swedish language in speech and writing, which means passing grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, or equivalent. You who do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1 may be offered to take a language test through the test provider Educateit.
If you have previously worked with ESL (A Self-Dependent Life), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Samsjuklighet (Co-occurring disorders), this is considered meritorious. If you have also worked in care, this is also considered meritorious.
You take responsibility for your and the group's tasks. You think of those we are here for and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it went. You see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can be developed, and you are attentive and open to understanding other people's needs, feelings, and opinions. You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible. You are calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations.
We welcome your application!
