About Käpplundaskolan

Käpplundaskolan is a preschool to year 6 school (F–6) with approximately 430 students, located centrally and close to nature in Havstena. The teaching is organized in year-group teams where teachers collaborate on planning, teaching, student learning, and support measures. The school is led by the principal and deputy principal and has an active development work focused on teaching analysis, collegial learning, and strengthening pedagogical quality.

As an employee, you are expected to continuously develop your professional role through reflection and analysis of teaching. The school works based on the vision of a school for all, where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites. Reading is a prioritized area, and the school library plays a central role.

The student health team consists of principals, school nurse, school psychologist, counselor, and special education teacher, and student health work takes place close to the operations. Special needs teachers and Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) teachers are part of the support work.

The school is undergoing a long-term investment in developing safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments. As a teacher, you will become an important part of shaping classrooms and environments that meet the needs of all students. During breaks, Well-being Leaders work to create movement, community, and safety through organized activities.

Job Description

We are now looking for an engaged and development-oriented teacher for Käpplundaskolan to work as a class teacher in year 3 (F3). Previous experience teaching in younger age groups is meritorious.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum's goals and the students' needs. The assignment also includes assessing and documenting students' knowledge development, as well as creating and maintaining good relationships and close collaboration with guardians.
