We are now looking for residential support workers for our team at Bagarevägen LSS. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! The position is a permanent employment at 93.02%.
About Bagarevägen
Bagarevägen is a group home for adults under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), located in a quiet area in Stenkullen, Lerum Municipality. There are good connections to both Gothenburg and Alingsås by public transport for those who prefer to take the train instead of the car to work.
The residence has six apartments and is aimed at adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. We work with a low-affective approach, and our residence is characterized by clear and supportive pedagogy. The residence is staffed around the clock with awake night staff and sleeping on-call personnel. We strive to meet individual needs and wishes from a pedagogical approach, so that the residents get the best conditions to develop and experience an active and meaningful leisure time. We have our own company vehicle and drive our customers, so a driver's license is a requirement.
About the role
In the role of residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You have a group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge
You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and you always have our users' best interests as your starting point in everything you do.
At Nytida, we are constantly developing. Here you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is characterized by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
What you get from us:
- Competence development through our own educational organization, Lära
- Benefits portal with discounts and offers
- Leadership-trained managers close to you

- Career and development opportunities
