About the role

In this role, you work as a consultant at the client's site and are part of a development team responsible for new development and further development of systems. You work in an agile environment where collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus.

• Work as a Java developer in the client's development team
• Participate in the entire development process – from design to deployment
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners
• Contribute to technical decisions and improvement work

Responsibilities

Your tasks vary depending on the assignment and team, but include the development of robust and future-proof system solutions. You often work in distributed systems using modern development methods.

• Develop and maintain applications in Java
• Design and implement APIs and microservices
• Work with databases and integrations
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews
• Participate in architecture and design decisions
• Contribute to CI/CD and automated delivery flows

Your background

To succeed in the role, you are an experienced developer with a good understanding of modern system architectures and an interest in building sustainable solutions.

• Experience with Java development (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot)
• Experience with React for frontend development
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices
• Proficient with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD and version control (Git)
• Experience with agile working methods
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience with container technology, especially Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka)
• Experience with test automation
• Previous experience as a consultant

Personality

You are a solution-oriented and curious person who thrives in the consultant role and in technically challenging assignments. You have a structured approach to work and take responsibility for your delivery.

You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others, while also having the ability to work independently. You have an interest in new technology and are happy to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement.
