We are now looking for personal assistants for a man in his 40s living in Valbo. The position involves providing practical support in an active daily life.

The working hours are scheduled on 24-hour shifts with standby time. To the right person, we can offer a permanent full-time position. There is also the possibility of a permanent part-time position and hourly substitute work. All new assistants start with our clients as hourly substitutes. This is so that you and the client can get to know each other at a suitable pace.

For those with ambitions to develop further in their role, there is also the opportunity to become a team leader.

About the assignment

The assignment involves providing support for a physical disability. The client speaks for himself and can explain how he wants things to be.

The work is performed in the client's home, at his workplace, and during activities outside the home.

Responsibilities

The role includes being helpful with:

• Support with transfers/mobility

• Support with personal care

• Support with daily chores at home (e.g., cooking and cleaning)

• Practical support at work and during activities outside the home.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, the following are required:

• Experience: Previous experience in personal assistance or another healthcare-related profession.

• Driver's license and car: A B-class driver's license and access to a personal car are required for the position.

• Language: Very good knowledge of the Swedish language to be able to understand instructions.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant with us.
