Job Information

As a Maintenance Engineer at TGW, you work at the heart of the business, responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and development of the automation facility. The role combines practical technical work with analysis and improvement initiatives, making it perfect for you who thrive in a varied and technically challenging environment.

You will belong to a small team consisting of a Team Lead and three engineers, where close collaboration, flexibility, and knowledge sharing are key parts of daily life. Together, you work to ensure high availability and efficiency of the facility while driving improvement initiatives and developing working methods.

This is a direct recruitment position, meaning the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and you will be employed directly by TGW.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will among other things:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the automation facility
• Work with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and handle complex operational stoppages
• Ensure that automation functions optimally and maintains high operational reliability
• Document and report maintenance work, spare part usage, and operational disruptions in DART and CMMS systems
• Participate in improvement work and identify actions that increase reliability and performance
• Conduct root cause analyses for recurring problems and operational deviations
• Participate in customer meetings and contribute technical updates regarding the facility
• Support and share knowledge with technicians and colleagues in the team

We are looking for you who

• Have an engineering degree or equivalent experience in areas such as automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or maintenance
• Have a few years of experience in a similar technical role within industry, production, or automation
• Have good knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Are accustomed to reading electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Thrive in an operational environment where the pace is sometimes high and problem-solving is a natural part of daily life
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Are available to work flexible shifts

Working Hours

Work is scheduled between 05:00–23:00, and the schedule is planned jointly within the team. This offers great opportunities for dialogue and flexibility in the setup. Working one Saturday approximately every third month is included.
