About the role

In the role of lawyer with us, you work with complex legal issues of varying nature, primarily IT-law related questions within the healthcare sector. In addition, your work spans a wide range of legal areas, including contract law, public access and confidentiality, and administrative law. The regulations in this area are dynamic, and the legal department plays a crucial role in legal development.

You actively participate in the agency's mission by providing advice and support to the entire organization on legal matters. This includes participating in various investigations and conducting legal research and analysis. The unit currently consists of 17 lawyers and a unit manager, and is part of the Legal and Security Department.

About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, where you both learn from others' knowledge and share your own. It is natural for you to take responsibility for your own work and drive your tasks forward. You are service-oriented with a good attitude and a solution-focused approach. We assume you have strong analytical skills as we deal with complex legal issues.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A Master of Laws degree (Jur. Cand. or equivalent, 4.5 years)
• Several years of experience in qualified legal work from a law firm, company, and/or public authority (including region or municipality)
• Good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish

It is meritorious for the position if you have experience in some of the following legal areas:

• Data protection legislation
• IT-law regulations
• Healthcare legislation
• Social services legislation
• Medical technology regulations
• Contracts
• Public procurement
• Administrative law and public access/confidentiality legislation

The position is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date is as soon as possible or by agreement. The workplace is located in Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business travel, primarily between Kalmar and Stockholm.

A position with us may involve security clearance. Therefore, we may need to conduct a security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Swedish citizenship is required for some security-classified tasks.
