The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. About the workplace

Visättraskolan in Huddinge is a grades F-6 school with approx. 400 students and 60 employees. We are now looking for resource pedagogues who will work in classes and at the school's after-school care center in the afternoons. This is a fixed-term employment lasting during the autumn semester with a chance of extension.

About the work

The assignment involves close collaboration with teaching teachers in one of our classes and the staff group at the after-school care center. In collaboration with the responsible class teacher and teaching teacher, the assignment includes planning and conducting lessons that are well adapted to the students' needs and conditions, as well as offering a good learning environment for the students in the classroom. The assignment involves both working with the whole group in class and working with smaller groups in collaboration with the class teacher. The main focus of the assignment is to enable a good learning environment for students who need support in their knowledge development and in their school day in various ways. You are expected to be able to lead smaller teaching groups, and you are also expected to be an important part of the planning and implementation of the individualized work.

The assignment also includes e.g.:

• Documentation related to the students' school day
• Contact and cooperation with guardians
• Conflict management and individual coaching conversations with students.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience and competence in working in school with students who need support in their knowledge development. You have a childcare education or equivalent competence and have previous experience working in special education groups. We also see that you have experience working with students within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

You are flexible, have good cooperation skills, and a very good ability to build good and trusting relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are clear, receptive, and professional in all contexts. You need to be able to be a clear leader, be clear in communication, and possess good pedagogical ability. The assignment means that you need to have a good ability to build good relationships with students who challenge and who need support in their knowledge development. In addition, we want you to possess a salutogenic approach, which among other things means that you find strengths and see opportunities instead of difficulties and obstacles in our students. A clear pedagogical leadership and low-affective handling and approach are important prerequisites for success in the work.
