About the role

In the role of lawyer with us, you work with complex legal issues of varying nature, primarily IT-law-related questions within the healthcare sector. Additionally, your work spans a wide range of legal fields, including contract law, public access and confidentiality, and administrative law. The regulations in this area are dynamic, and the legal unit plays a crucial role in legal development.

You actively participate in the agency's mission and provide advice and support to the entire organization on legal matters. This includes participating in various investigations and conducting legal research and legal analyses. The unit currently consists of 17 lawyers and a unit manager, and is part of the Legal and Security Department.

About you

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team where you both benefit from others' knowledge and share your own. It is natural for you to take responsibility for your own work and drive your tasks forward. You are service-oriented with a good attitude and have a solution-oriented approach. We assume that you have strong analytical skills as we deal with complex legal issues.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor's degree in law.
• Several years of experience in qualified legal work from a law firm, company, and/or authority (including region or municipality).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience with some of the following legal areas:

• Data privacy legislation.
• IT-legal regulations.
• Healthcare legislation.
• Social services legislation.
• Medical technology regulations.
• Contracts.
• Public procurement.
• Administrative law and public access and confidentiality legislation.

The position is permanent with a six-month probation period. Start date: ASAP or by agreement. The place of employment is Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business travel, primarily between Kalmar and Stockholm.

An employment with us may involve security clearance. Therefore, we may need to conduct a security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For some tasks in security clearance, Swedish citizenship is required.
