Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled People). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every customer is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the customer's needs. You uphold the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Wish to work with a playful 3-year-old boy living in Älta

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Have good physical fitness to perform heavier lifts

• Are non-smoking and fragrance-free during working hours

• Tolerate pets (cat)

• Sensitive to needs and balance activities

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work

• Have medical knowledge

• Are playful and have a childlike spirit, taking initiative for activities

• Have experience with tube feeding, food, and drink

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

We are currently looking for two personal assistants who can work extra when needed, during the absence of regular staff and on vacation. The current form of employment is "hourly employment".

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Day: 07:00-14:30 Afternoon/evening: 16:00-22:00 Night (active night): 22:00-07:00

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to the collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present a certificate from the police's criminal record register prior to a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
