Job Description
In your role as a native language teacher, you will be part of a team with other native language teachers in the municipality. As a native language teacher in Marks Municipality, you will teach the municipality's students in grades 1-9 as well as at Marks Upper Secondary School. Teaching takes place at various schools, depending on where the relevant students reside in the municipality. Study guidance, both individual and group-based, is also often part of the assignment. Teaching groups may consist of students of different ages and with varying prior knowledge.
The position also involves extensive contact with parents, as well as attendance reporting, lesson planning, etc., in the school portal Vklass.
Qualifications
As a native language teacher, you must have good Swedish skills, both spoken and written, be proficient in your native language, both spoken and written, and hold a valid driver's license. If you are a certified teacher, this is an advantage, but you who are waiting for your certification or are unqualified with other qualifications are also welcome to apply.
You are a role model for children and young people, value trust-based relationships, and have high expectations of students as a starting point for successful learning. It is important in the role of a native language teacher that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and of different conditions for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operations.
You are creative, independent, flexible, and stress-resistant, and you easily create contact and collaborate with both students, colleagues, and guardians. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Knowledge of the curriculum in the subject of native language, pedagogical planning, assessment, and grading is advantageous. You must also have a good understanding of the curriculum's value base and view of knowledge and be able to relate to this.
Good computer skills and digital competence are a prerequisite. Teacher certification is advantageous.
A valid driver's license is a requirement.
