Your role:

As a Student Information Officer, you work together with your team to help Vision grow as a trade union by recruiting new student members at your university. Your tasks primarily involve conducting classroom presentations and manning information booths, as well as participating in fairs and job fairs. You also work with marketing and keep track of what is happening at your specific campus. You and your team drive local operations and member growth, receiving support and coaching from your operations manager or section leader.

We are looking for someone who is:

• A student at Linnaeus University in Kalmar or Växjö
• Social and outgoing
• A good team player
• Responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Results-driven and enjoys working towards goals
• Creative

We would appreciate if you:

• Have experience in customer service and/or sales
• Have at least 1 year left of your studies
• Have been or are actively engaged in student life at your university

The position is a fixed-term employment, termly, for approximately 30 hours/month. The starting salary is 145 SEK/hour exclusive of holiday pay, with the possibility of a termly salary increase. We assume you share the values of the trade union movement, but you do not need prior knowledge of Vision or the union – we will provide that. The role includes travel between Växjö and Kalmar.
