Job Description

Here you will have the opportunity to work with people with various mental and social health conditions. The work is always based on a holistic perspective with the patient in focus, and you will work mostly with individual conversations. At our health centre, you will meet patients with mental and behavioural health issues. Your role is to meet patients' needs for psychosocial support through supportive and/or therapeutic conversations. You assess the patient's mental health from a holistic perspective and treat their mental and social health conditions using evidence-based methods, both individually and in groups. You are also a knowledge bearer within your profession to the team at the health centre. You are also expected to be part of the team working together with sick-listed patients. As a social worker/counsellor, you can support the person's return to work or help the person map their situation when they are at risk of long-term sick leave.

The assignment includes collaboration with social services, outpatient care, other healthcare partners, and relevant authorities. We also see that you will be an engaged participant in and have an interest in improvement and method development work. We strive to work according to integrated behavioural health.
