Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a couple of years of experience in financial management? We are now looking for a Controller for the Administrative Court in Malmö. As a Controller, you will have a central role in developing, ensuring quality, and following up on work related to financial and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities

As a Controller, you work closely with the Chief Judge and the Administrative Manager in both operational and strategic matters concerning budget, financial management, planning, staffing, and operational monitoring. In the role, you are also responsible for financial monitoring. A large part of the work involves operational monitoring. This means that you continuously monitor the court's results in relation to the incoming cases. You follow up, for example, on case processing times in relation to the court's and the government's operational goals, how many cases the court receives and decides, and how many cases are awaiting a decision and their status. You are responsible for producing statistics and materials which you then present to responsible managers. You also analyze and draw conclusions from the materials you produce.

In addition, tasks within ongoing financial administration may occur in collaboration with the court's financial administrator. This means that you work with ongoing financial and budget work, including updating personnel and administrative costs, cost monitoring, and handling supplier invoices.

It is meritorious if you have current and relevant work experience in operational monitoring, key figure analysis, and producing decision support for management.

In the role of Controller, it is important that you analyze situations to identify illogical solutions and inconsistencies, and that you develop effective, reasonable, and feasible solutions to problems. You will be a sounding board for the operation's managers by using various types of data to produce decision support. The work therefore places high demands on accuracy in all respects and that you simultaneously have a holistic perspective. Furthermore, you plan and organize your work in a realistic way and adapt your work when new circumstances arise.

To get the most out of your analyses, it is important that you communicate information clearly and simply, and that you proactively keep those concerned informed.
