Do you want to make a real difference in a young person's life? This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new and dedicated team where you will together build routines, security, and quality of life around an amazing young man.

What does this role involve?

In September, the client will move into his own accommodation, and we are now looking for personal assistants who want to be part of this journey. There is an opportunity to start working as an hourly substitute already during the summer.

Working hours vary between day, evening, night (with waiting time), and weekends. Overnight shifts occur on weekends.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the client's daily life. He walks independently but needs support and guidance in various tasks throughout the day. Duties include, among other things:

  • Personal care

  • Support at home and household chores

  • Planning and structure in daily life

  • Hobbies and social interaction

  • Motivational support and guidance

During the summer, he will start attending day activities. On weekdays, the work involves meeting him after activities in the afternoon and supporting him through the evening, night, and morning before you together start the next day.

About the client

The client is a 20-year-old young man with Down syndrome who appreciates a calm, secure, and positive environment. In his free time, he enjoys walking, going on short outings, and sometimes treating himself to an ice cream.

He thrives best with people who are present, engaged, and able to create structure while contributing joy and initiative to daily life.

We would like you to:

  • Have experience in personal assistance or other work within healthcare, social care, or disability support

  • Speak and write Swedish fluently

  • Be calm, secure, and patient
