In a newly established position, we are looking for you who are passionate about the target group within the LSS Act and who want to work both strategically and close to the operations. Here, you will have a central and important role in developing working methods, strengthening the pedagogical approach, and contributing to ensuring that our users receive the best possible support, together with business controllers and business developers.
The Development Unit is a professional team responsible for the leadership, steering, and development of authority exercises and operational activities within individual and family care, support and services for persons with disabilities, as well as open leisure activities for children and young people. The role of the Method Support Specialist primarily targets our LSS operations as well as our social psychiatry operations.

Your role
As a Method Support Specialist, you have overall responsibility for coordinating and developing the pedagogical work in our LSS operations, as well as supporting the district's support pedagogues in their work and role. You work in a supportive, supervisory, and development-oriented manner with the entire work team.
Your main tasks:
- Coordinate and develop the district's support pedagog network based on the pedagogical framework.
- Provide method supervision to work groups within our SoL (Social Services Act) and LSS operations.
- Support operations in translating research, legislation, and proven experience into practical work.
- Work with quality, structure, and systematic approaches in e.g., action plans, implementation plans, pedagogical methods, and documentation.
- Contribute to competence development in the operations through training initiatives, workshops, and ongoing method support.
- Be an active part of business development and improvement work.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant education within the LSS target group.
- Further education as a support pedagogue (YH) or equivalent competence.
- Supervisor education with a focus on method supervision.
- University credits in pedagogy/psychology or social work.
- Several years of experience working within LSS operations.
- Good knowledge of LSS legislation, documentation, and pedagogical methods, primarily the city's pedagogical framework.
- Experience in conducting training initiatives and external group supervision.
- Knowledge of AKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), low-affective interaction, and clarifying pedagogy.
Meritorious are knowledge in ESL (Evidence-Based Social Work) and in the city's pedagogical framework.
